Data controller

The data controller is Leonid Bugaev (referred to as 'we', 'the site'). The site is available at leonidbugaev.com.

What data we collect

The site has no registration, user accounts, or forms requiring personal data. We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers directly through on-site forms.

Technical data. When you visit the site, standard technical data is automatically processed: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time and date of visit. This data is processed by web analytics tools in anonymised form.

Direct communication data. If you contact us by email, Telegram, or other channels listed on the contacts page, we process only the information you choose to include in your message.

Cookies

The site uses cookies — small text files stored by your browser on your device.

Necessary cookies. Used for basic interface functionality, for example to remember your cookie notice preference. These do not require separate consent.

Analytics cookies. Google Tag Manager may set analytics cookies to collect anonymised visitor statistics. You can decline analytics cookies via the site's cookie notice or through your browser settings.

Third-party services

Google Tag Manager (Google LLC). Used to manage analytics scripts. Data is transferred to Google servers in accordance with Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Calendly (Calendly LLC). A Calendly scheduling widget is embedded on the contacts page. If you use the widget, your data is processed by Calendly in accordance with their policy: calendly.com/privacy.

We do not sell, transfer, or exchange visitor data with third parties for commercial purposes.

Legal basis and purpose

Technical data and analytics are processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — to maintain site functionality and improve its quality.

Purposes: site operation and security, visitor analytics, content and navigation improvement.

Your rights

You have the right to request information about data we hold on you; request correction or deletion of your data; object to processing based on legitimate interest; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for no more than 26 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

Data from direct communications (email, messengers) is retained only within the correspondence and is not shared with third parties.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the site evolves or legal requirements change. The current version is always available at leonidbugaev.com/en/privacy-policy.

For significant changes, we will update the date in the page header.
